I purchased a car and the buttons to select A/C, and position, and DEF does not work.. What could that be?

Someone told me it could be the control panel for my 2000 Honda, Accord. If that is the case, does anyone know how much that is. My air blows fine I just can't select A/C or Def or any positions i.e. for feet or face.

It's probably a vacuum leak. A good shade tree mechanic should be able to fix it.
Reply:check it... What you'll have to do is to take off the facing to the dash like you would to run new stereo equip. But the knobs iether busted off completely or the catch just slipped off...
