Hi, my p.c. is running slow. i've just had xp installed and have changed isp to a faster connection! any idea?

other problems are that my p.c. won't remember any info like my yahoo log in details even though i tick the two weeks. same with facebook and youtube!!! and other sites. also moving picturesa like on youtube freeze all the time even if its downloaded and replayed. is it my processor size? i have 7.6 Mbps connection.

It would be more economical to buy another PC because after buying more ram, motherboard, graphics card and processor you will have chewed though £200 or so.


You can get a more up to date pc very cheap these days.


Also if you have too many applications running at the same time, that will slow down your pc.
Reply:You need more ram, the easy way to do this is to buy an external hard disk. They come with a usb fitting, just plug it into your computer. They come in different ram ,s. I have a 300 ,it,s more than enough for what i do. Good Luck.
Reply:I think you may need some more RAM as 348 is very near the minimum to run XP , so you are just over loading your memory, the poor thing can't go any quicker
